I'm planning to leave my bank for a competitor after my bonus hits next week. I've heard anecdotally of people informing their boss that they we're leaving for a competitor and being immediately asked to vacate the premises during pre-COVID times. Is instant dismissal industry standard in these situations or should I give 2 weeks notice?
