Lie about Position Title?

I worked as a Warehouse Associate at Amazon. Can I lie that I was a Warehouse Manager on my application? That is a lot more prestigious and will get me better jobs. Warehouse Associate looks shit.

Will employers find out? Thank you so much

Don't ever lie on resume. Its not worth it.

I've read all of the advice and it is wrong. Don't lie - lie big. Why be a warehouse manager? Why not say you were Amazon's CEO? Amazon is a pretty low key company so they're unlikely to figure out this little white lie.

I mean real ballers just tell the interviewer that this is undercover boss and they're fired.

Now that you have some job experience, there is nobody in the world who will care that you were a warehouse associate instead of manager, but they will absolutely care if you lied to them about your job history.

I think the more appropriate way to do this is to rephrase your responsibilities to make you look more important at the associate level. If you said you were a manager, whoever is viewing your CV will examine your experience at the manager's standard. So don't lie, just explore your unique contribution as a associate, people expect less for associates and if you have some unique accomplishments to show, I's say that's more impresseive.

Thanks a lot to everyone here and this post. I'll do that. I'll just exaggerate what I did as opposed to my position. That would be honest and help me a lot.

Thanks a lot again to everyone.
