Loan Admin

Recently graduated university, working as a loan admin. Definitely not into this industry, but need something for my resume. Just wondering what's the most appropriate time frame to stay at a job for? I don't want to look like a job-hopper or anything. I'm looking to get into investments/corporate finance/capital markets, would staying here too long make it harder for me to switch industries later on? My current position is a perm full time, but I heard people say how you shouldn't quit a perm full-time job for a intern/contract position, your thoughts on this?
