Looking for any recommendations for how to break into PE Ops.I have an analytical background in computational thermodynamics but have been focused in product cost reduction for the last year. My current role entails deriving cost reduction strategies by connecting data from sourcing, manufacturing, and design engineering, building teams to identify key action items and managing projects through execution. Key areas of impact have been in sourcing strategy, manufacturing process improvements and engineering design changes. I am very interested in moving into PE Ops to drive value creation through cost reduction and cost optimization.
