Looking to apply for a summer internship at a defense company but I have no experience/undecided major

So I've been eying this summer 2023 accounting/finance internship at a defense company, and it will be fully remote which is very nice. I do not have any experience in this industry unfortunately, besides working 4 hours a week as an accounts receivable intern at a hotel.
One issue is that I am a sophomore with an undecided major so I am not sure how the recruiters at this company will see that given the requirement in the application is that I am in a finance/accounting major program.
My classes thus far have been very accounting/economics/math heavy with a solid GPA, but officially my major is undecided.
But my question here is how do I approach this? I feel like my resume will definitely be thrown out if I apply the normal way on the website so should I try and get some names in the department and network? And if so what should I say?
Thanks
