Lost

In a very weird situation, I worked IB at a BB bank in summer 24 then worked at a good HY pod at a tier 2 MM HF in summer 25, and unfortunately due to my PMs performance that year wasn’t given the return.

Now I am recruiting for something on the buy side either credit or HF. Have gotten some traction but people are very hesitant to take someone out of undergrad. Right now I am just cold emailing places and seeing what sticks, but most of them just say they want someone with 2 years of experience and HH don’t take me seriously (saying I need 2 years of exp). Now I am about to graduate with no job.

Now I’m thinking of going back to banking (ideally rx) or a long only or ER. It’s a little hard because a lot of banks think I will leave asap when I get a good HF offer.

What should I do now, I think I have a solid resume but nothing seems to stick.

Any advice is appreciated
