Management Consultant from Target School looking to

Hi all,

I recently left my job at a big name Management Consulting firm (Not an MBB and not a big four, so you can guess) in NYC after only one year of working there. I hated the company's way of operating, it's analyst program, and it's culture and honestly felt like I was wasting my time. I graduated in 2019 from an Ivy League with an Economic History degree and am currently looking into masters programs in international affairs or economics as that I've come to find is my true passion. Oddly, this has lead me to be incredibly interested in S&T or GCM roles and pivoting to finance ( I have a better response for interviews haha)

How do I go about this pivot? What are my chances like and how could I claw my way into a role? I'm assuming I'm all off-cycle and would need to start from scratch, which I'm totally open to, so what would I need to consider?
