market hire vs campus hire
i recently talked to a former MD at Citi and he telling me that there are campus hires versus market hires, but i wasnt sure what he meant exactly by that?
could someone clarify?
market hires are laterals.
campus hires are undergrad/grads hired through the recruiting cycle.
can an undergrad come in as a market hire?
how would that make any sense? market hires are people who already have experience
no i meant was, assuming you dont get into a formal analyst program, is it possible to be hired onto a specific desk coming from undergrad?
