Math skills?

Hey guys,

I got an interview tomorrow at another Investment Bank. This time it's for Fixed Income, not IBD.

The recruiter wants me to bring in a sample/project showing my math skills. They said that it could be something from school, like a Math project or what not. The problem is, that in school, we never did any math projects. We only took exams. Anyone got any advice on what I should bring/do to show my math skills?

Why can't/don't they just give me a math test?

Thanks for all your help in advance! =)

^hahaha

They just said it could be a math project, but it doesnt have to be. If you have ever done a project in one of your econ, finance, accounting coursees that involved a lot of computations, then bring in that.

isn't that a strange request? in engineering i do alot of longer term projects, but I can't imagine what a liberal arts major would bring in

LOL.. a calculator.. that was actually pretty clever.. hahaha

Yeah, I've never heard of this either. I'm going to see if they can just give me a math exam, because who does math projects? I mean unless I'm going for my Masters or Ph.D. but I'm not.

I guess we'll see how it goes.
