Merrill Lynch Equity Research Intern
I submitted my summer application for Merrill Lynch Equity Research Intern last week. I still haven't heard anything from them yet. Considering summer is fast approaching, should I follow up with the hr in this week. By the way, I do not know any alumni in that group. In this case, I am a little bit worried about the chance of getting the intern now. In addition, the hr people also stated that they will not accept any telephone calls due to the expected interest in this position. So what should I do? Email them to ask how is the recruiting process going on?

Im pretty sure they are done hiring SA by now. They came to our school in January, but it doesnt hurt to call. Also, make sure you didn't mis-spell equity.
Last week? Formal recruiting has been done for well over a month now. With the last superdays held during the last week of February/ first week of March time frame.
