Mid Tier BB Mid Tier Group
Currently interning at a BB in a relatively niche group with average deal flow and am curious if it is worth lateraling to better my chances at PE recruiting. For reference, I'm from a non-target state school with a 1400 SAT and a 3.8 GPA.I'm not dead set on BX/APO/KKR type of MF, which probably wouldn't be feasible anyway considering my test scores. But, I'm definitely interested in some of the top UMM and other MF firms. Also, I'm mostly interested in generalists programs. Would being in a relatively niche group hurt my chances in terms of receiving a generalist offer?Don't mean to sound like a "what are my chances of XXX" post, but it is
