Midd student w/ offer here. Everyone who really works at it gets a role eventually, whether in IB or some other role, like AM / GE / PE. Strong GS / MS / BarCap / BofA connections, particularly in financing for GS/MS. Generally pretty collaborative/supportive community thanks to the finance clubs but varies by year/class ofc
Don’t lie to the kid we put like 2 kids in PE/AMand the finance clubs aka SIC is overrated/not helpful and that’s our only finance club
True we don't send lots of people to AM roles, but people do end up in MM PE often enough that it isn't negligible (Audax mostly)
This, midd placement has been weak this past couple years

Most midd grads I see are in equity sales or similar sales roles
