Will IB (BB/EB/MM) take away SA offer if an intern has a misdemeanor on record? If it is non-finance related charge (think minor in possession of alcohol, vandalism, trespassing, resisting arrest) etc. What if the charge is awaiting trial/the person has not been convicted yet?

It happened after I got the offer. I haven't disclosed it yet but I believe that it is a good idea to be preemptive, you have a good point. If I have a relatively decent explanation for the charge/can talk about how I learned from the mistake, and mention that I will likely be able to get it expunged in the future (it happened too recently to get it expunged before background check) do you think they will still let me keep the SA position or would they rescind the offer?
