know whats going on in the markets (subprime, credit crunch, etc.), be able to recommend stocks (long/short), and be able to talk about yourself (i.e. your resume)...if you are smart and come from a good school/background, they are (to a large extent) just looking to see if they would like working with you on a daily basis

If so, did you guys get notified of your status/offers/rejections??
I had a BRM superday on Wednesday. No reply yet. When is yours? I wonder how long it takes for them to give you reply.
