Morgan Stanley Internship Question

I saw these recent Morgan Stanley internship postings on LinkedIn and the descriptions seem vague. Does anyone have any insight on these programs and how they differ from the Summer Analyst program?

Sales Associate Intern The Sales Associate Intern provides ongoing day-to-day support of a Private Wealth Advisor’s book of business. While tasks may vary day to day, responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Working with clients to ensure proper accounting opening procedures and documentation - Providing account information to clients and Private Wealth Advisors and maintaining key client relationships - Proactively resolving clients’ issues and concerns - Learning the business and products in order to assist Private Wealth Advisors - Clerical duties such as handling telephones, mailing, filing, processing forms, travel and expenses - Taking and placing customer orders in brokerage and advisory accounts - Participating in ongoing platform reviews and design initiatives - Participating in ongoing learning and development to enhance support of Private Wealth Advisors’ business - Comply with all industry rules and regulation and firm policies

Intern -Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments. -Develop business, financial and analytical skills needed for career in global wealth management and financial services. -Provide marketing and sales support to branches and their teams. -Perform market research. -Gain exposure to wealth management business, products, services and clients’ financial needs.
