I heard back the morning after. I also had a deadline coming up, so that was probably part of it.

Yeah, I actually know one other person from that Superday that got the offer - and I believe he's taking it. That said, I have friends who got offers a week or more after their Superday, so there's definitely still a chance.

If you get it that late, I think it means you were initially waitlisted. They know who they want to give offers to shortly after the interview. That said, given that you haven't heard back, you're in the good scenario (as in they are at least considering you as a potential candiate if other people decline their offers). They wouldn't keep you on hold if they thought you wouldn't be a suitable candidate/wouldn't have a chance. If they thought you wouldn't be alright, they would probably ding you.

IBD. when was your super day?

I was at the thursday IBD superday. Were you all IBD or GCM? They told me I should hear back by friday.

For those of you that got offers, how long did MS give you to make a decision? I had an equity research summer associate superday on 2/23, and haven't heard back as of yet. I e-mailed about my status a couple days ago and didn't get a reply. My hope is that the lack of reply indicates I'm still on a waitlist....

I believe it's standard to give students 2 weeks to make a decision. Could be different for you as an associate.
