Need an ADVICE to get a job as a trader!!

Hi guys,
Like you all I love trading:) I have been trading options for the last 2 years (self-taught). I am pretty good at it and can prove my results with my brokerage statements. I think any HF manager would WOW on my results. Starting with less than $5,000 and 5000 trades later I am into 6 figures now.

Now is the time to move to the next step, I want to get into hedge funds as a trader/money manager.

I live in Chicago, have an MBA, 34 years old. I have never worked for anyone, always owned my own business (which might not look good on the resume). I do enjoy trading/money management and want that to be my career.

What would you advise me to do? Should I send my trading results with every resume I send or ....?? Please, help.

Also, if you guys can name some great hedge funds in the Chicago area would be very helpful.

Thank you so much!!

you can get job easily at a prop shop.

I am in HF space; and will comment on my experience; unless you know someone it would be tough to do. With that being said I have never worked at a l/s fund; if this is in fact what your are trading. Basically; build as many connections as you can through sending resume out etc; and you may get some hits. Good luck
