Negotiating Salary as an intern
Is it appropriate to negotiate a salary as an intern? I am curious as I have recently been offered a position as a pharmaceutical company, not too big, but based in Cali. I am only finishing my second year, but I have a fair bit of experience, research experience, and a prior business internship. The salary is a bit low, as I need to save money while also trying to live in Cali without financial support. How feasible is asking for more on my salary without coming across as greedy?
I've done it before but can't do it on any sort of structured programs (I.e. are there other interns in the same role?). Really depends though. Wouldn't necessarily advise it unless you need it for survival.
