Network - Head of Business
What do you guys think.
How strong is networking in this respect, could it get you where you want to be/go.
You have made acquaintances and further, friends with the head of the Asia equities business for a major bulge bracket. He is based in Hong Kong.
You work at that bulge bracket in New York. In a client facing role, but not revenue generating. Think analytical investor relations.
Could he get you an associate role on the sales desk? How much pull does he have?
