Networking as Analyst
Incoming FT analyst at a mid-tier BB. I'm wondering how much networking happens as an analyst. For my SA recruiting, I relied pretty heavily on alumni from my (semi-target) college. People who have been in the industry for a bit and especially those who have lateraled from one bank to another - how much did you college network help? And to what extent were you reaching out to new people that you haven't talked to vs friends from college or friends of friends?
