Networking calls with VPs and EDs - what to ask?

What do you ask senior bankers during networking calls?

I usually try to have these after having calls with Analysts/Associates, so that I have a "feel" of the team, and try not to ask basic questions. Should I ask about what clients do they cover? Where they see their respective industry evolving? Or more loosely, ask for qualities that they think made them successful etc.

I'd appreciate your help!

I usually focus on what they've learned as they've ascended (they're in a unique position to tell you this vs analysts etc and it gives them a chance to talk about themselves) and try to do some research on what specifically they do and ask a question or two about their opinions on how it's changing etc. just my 2c, might be a little basic
