Hey, how did you guys network when recruiting for full time (specifically M&A)? I’ve been reaching out on LinkedIn to a lot of people to arrange people calls to build relationships; however, I do not land too many interviews. I always make it to the final round past Super day to a 1 on 1 with the MDs and have a summer offer already. But I believe landing the interviews have been difficult for me despite the volume. Any suggestions?

If you are making it “past superday” to a 1 on 1 with an MD then the problem isn’t that you didn’t network beforehand, it’s how you are coming across to the MDs
Thanks for your response! That only happened once, it’s that I didn’t land more than 2 company’s interviews for SA (getting the offer the second time). I reflected and knew where I went wrong the first time. I’m inquiring how I can get more interviews at all for FT.
