Networking Question
I see that majority of the people recommend that you disclose how you obtained the person's information when contacting them, which is fair. What to do you if you can't say you found the person's info through an alumni database or something?
For me, this person I found on linkedin and then used the [email protected] template to email them. Should I say anything? Will they be creeped out?
Also, is it ok to network with people after you've submitted the application?
Just say you found them via LinkedIn that should be fine. Most banks have standard email formats so they will understand you just used their profile to find them.
