Networking: The art of asking for the job
Hi guys,
From a semi-target university so I've realised that I must up my networking game.
I'm okay with initiating and building relationships with all types of professionals, but always struggle in the key moments of WHEN and HOW to ask for a job/experience.
Reading the networking guide on WSO introduced me to messaging people on LinkedIn, so I have done exactly that and have built relationships with some very senior people (junior too, of course). Unfortunately, I have often failed when it actually comes to asking for an interview/experience.
Could anyone help with my approach? What has worked with you?
Thanks
