Networking While On The Job
Currently working at a private equity firm as an intern remotely, looking to do some networking to secure a different position. Just wondering how people go about doing networking calls while on the job. Even when I mark busy in my calendar I don't feel completely safe since messages always come through.
What's the best way to go about this? Ask for calls on nights/weekends? I feel like it would be awkward to have to be the one to reschedule a call given that I am asking for their time.
