Networking with MDs if I’m leaving?
Im currently a Sophomore IB SA at a BB but I recruited prior to the internship and landed a role at an M&A EB.
I’m currently doing regional coverage while at the EB I’ll be covering US companies so is it a waste of the MDs and senior people’s time if I network and coffee chat with them given that I’ll be covering a different region and product at a different, competing bank?
I just want to be conscious of their limited time and don’t want to outright waste it…
Any advice would be welcomed
