Networking with peers from other firms

Hi, I currently work at a small VC fund in a Latam. Interesting in moving out of the country in the next couple of years and want some advice on how to built relationships w analysts at other funds. We often co-invest, or at least are in touch with, bigger, more established funds. Just want some advice on how to leverage these interactions into and built my network in region.

I have considered just reaching out to them asking to pick their brain on some topic/trends relevant to VC in the region. But I dont know if they would see this as a waste of their time given they probably know much more about the industry in general than I do.

For context, I was born and raised where I currently live, but graduated from a semi target in the US last year.
