Next steps?

Im new to all this in WSO, in fact I feel new to this whole side of the business world I really never knew. I wanted to come on here and just ask for advice. Im in my sophomore year of college, but now Im realizing there is colleges that are target schools and semi and all that. I did not know about any of that and I know my school isn't a target or semi target school. I just feel really anxious about all that, trying to land a good internship and eventually trying to get a good job after I graduate. I know I want to go into either IB or Corporate Finance, but after reading a lot of discussions I saw a lot of people mention networking and having connections. Im jus a 20 year old in college, I come from the suburbs I don't have any connections like that, and being Dominican and Ecuadorian people tend to look down at you thinking that Im not smart enough to go into the corporate world. I just hope someone can give me advice on the anxiousness and just general advice on what a good path is to take. I would really appreciate any advice that is given. Thank you.
