No response on thank you email
Hey all. I had a CB interview yesterday and I thought it went pretty well. I sent out emails to all three of my interviewers however none of them have replied. Do you think that's a sign I'm not moving forward?
I’d say people don’t respond 90%+ of the time, wouldn’t stress about it
Getting a response from a Thank You email is rare and most times the interviewer does it out of courtesy to prove he read it.
Most times (like 95-99% of the time) , they read it, and carry on with their work or they don't read it. I wouldn't worry about them not replying to it - just sending it is the crucial part.
In general don't expect responses on thank emails unless they reply on top of it to tell you about the next stage in the hiring process assuming you passed. Don't beat yourself over it though as right now most banks are second guessing any and all hires they were planning. I've already seen cases where people passed the interviews, were essentially chosen over all the other applicants but because of the situation all of it was shut down.
