Non-South African Citizen applying or BoAML's South African Off Cycle Internship. Any chance?

Hi! I am Oscar, a Chinese student studying in Hong Kong. I am wondering usually when one applying for a location where he does not holds a citizenship, does he have possibility to be offered a place? and how much probability?

And I suppose that situation may be different when non-citizen applying intern in US, Europe and South African. I mean, yes, it is very competitive in US markets where famous school students, native speaker of English are anywhere. But for Africa, will the bank only recruit the local student?
