not lisitng GPA, could you get dinged if you get an offer

So i was offered a job at a hedge fund and i never listed my GPA due to it being less than stellar in my mind. I was wondering if the fund might Ding me after HR does a background check and sees my GPA.

No one ever asked about my GPA which was weird, but i figured since i went through a headhunter for the job they might assume i was a good candidate, but im just wondering

If they didn't ask during the interview, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Then again, I could be wrong - but hopefully not.

I think that if they were really concerned, they would have asked, as not putting your GPA on a resume is usually a direct result of a poor GPA - in other words, no one happens to forget to put their 3.9 or so on their resume.

For UGrad, I don't I've seen a resume without a GPA - if they have honors, then it shouldn't be a big deal to throw a GPA on the resume as well, it should be good. For Grad (MBA), I haven't seen many with grades, then again, most of the ones that I have seen have been from top schools, and, most of those don't disclose their grades, or their grading system is more of a pass, high pass thing, and not very important to the decision process.

I'm pretty sure most schools cant give out GPA's without your consent. HR just cant go in, hit a button, and pull up your transcripts. Similar to doctor patient confidentiality.

Have you actually read what you've signed when you apply/interview for jobs?
