NYC Recruiting -- Background Check Delays
I am intending to relocate to NYC and I am going through the recruitment process. A recruiter notified that new legislation passed July 29th would delay the background check process (I believe he was referring to the Fair Chance Act). I want to relocate to NYC but he informed that the process would be expedited and I would have a better chance if he redirected my application towards another a city.Has any one else heard or experienced anything regarding delayed background checks in NYC due to new legislation?If so, could you provide advice or insight into your experience with NYC recruiting recently?
