Off-cycle internship without a Summer internship
Hi guys. I'm currently in the master of science in Finance. I have applied for many summer internship, with zero response (I have never arrived to the interview). I thought that a previous internship exeprience at KPMG (audit) and a decent grade (106/110) would be enough. Now, i want to apply for an off-cycle. Is it possible to obtain an off-cycle without a summer internship? and do you have any reccomandation? Thanks a lot!
I'm gonna take an educated guess here and assume you're Italian and studying at Bocconi. Given the level of competition, your chances of securing a BB off-cycle internship in Milan are very slim I'm afraid (106 is not enough to get your foot in the door). The fact that you don't have a summer internship is pretty irrelevant as most people recruiting for off-cycle do so because they didn't manage to land a summer gig or a return offer
yes you guessed correctly ahaha. Thanks for your answer! Honestly, I didn't expect to see that 106 wasn't enough. I thought that a previous internship experience was more relevant... So should i just give up in the IB? You suggest to look for another internship and maybe apply to IB later?
