OFFER ADVICE: 1 Year in Big Pharma FP&A or SA in Commercial Banking?

(UK Based)

Hi all,

I recently received an offer for both a Summer internship at HSBC in their middle market commercial banking division and a 1 year placement at Johnson & Johnson in their finance team.

I want to know which one would give the more opportunity in achieving a high paying career in Banking/Finance/Sales.

I am more interested in Banking and would enjoy HSBC more, but J&J seems that I would gain much more experience and going back to Uni in September is something I don’t really want to do.

I am also waiting for outcomes of final interviews at Pfizer for FP&A and Video Game Monetisation Strategy at Unity Technologies.

I’d like to mention I’d be able to do both Pfizer and HSBC as they do not clash unlike J&J. Unity Technologies does clash (I could ask for some flexibility) but the niche of Game Economy and Monetization is a career path I probably find the most exciting above all of them.

Your opinions are much appreciated.
