Offer Help! SMBC IB Analyst or PWC Tech Consultant
Hey, everyone, I would really really appreciate any insight into what I should do at this point. I have an open offer with PwC with their advisory division for Cloud and Digital as a tech consultant. Comp is 85k w/ bonus. I now am also in the process with SMBC for their 2022 Analyst Program in Corporate & Investment Banking Coverage in Los Angeles.
I cannot seem to find much insight on the IB one. Is the comp comparable to BB/EB and what are the flaws? Also, for them, even though it is CIBC, it says that it is for the Lending Management Group (LMG) which I am not sure if it is traditional IB?
My goal is to go into PE or management consulting (specifically MBB) after. Anyone have any advice and what I should do? Really appreciate it.
