"On Hold"
I just got put "on hold" for two weeks by a BB that is my top choice. Does anybody know what the general outlook on the odds of getting an offer from this is? Or any advice on anything that would help while I am on hold? I have networked a lot here
You need the kids in front of you to not take their offers. I’m sure following up with close contacts couldn’t hurt to make sure you’re on their minds if a spot does open up, since you’re likely not the only candidate they’ve put on hold.
This is good advice - def follow up with any strong contacts.
I would start hunting down the kids that put incoming analyst in their LinkedIn bios. You be doing the world a favor.
You need to TAKE OUT the kids in front of you. Find them, eliminate them, show no mercy!
Depends on the bank. It's a bit like college applications and waitlists. Some banks like BofA like to put a lot of people on hold to cover their asses while other banks put very few people on hold. Obviously the banks that put a lot of people on hold mean your chances of getting off the waitlist are much smaller.
If this is BofA, I think your chances are really slim. They give out a ton of waitlists. Don't know a single person who got off of it.
