Operations/Back Office Advice

Hey guys, I am looking for some advice and insights on what I should regarding the question I am about to ask. I want to pursue a role in back office or operations, what would be the best possible way of obtaining one of these positions? I graduated from non target college last May and don’t have stellar grades. I’ve been applying to as many jobs and networking as much as I can. Any new advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What kind of back office function are you interested in? Audit, compliance, model vetting, trade settlement, performance measurement, portfolio analytics, fund accounting, etc. There's many different back office functions, and they're quite different from one another and require different backgrounds and skills.
