Opportunity as a hedging consultant
Hi,
2 questions:
1) Any of you have a view on a career as a hedging consultant for private equity and firms to hedge interest rate, FX, inflation, commodity risk? The position seems quite quant and involve structuring.
2) My background is multi asset in asset management but I am not seeing myself as a long only PM so maybe stepping in this position for few years would allow me to then come back into a global macro HF ?
