Panel interview in 10 days. Financial Modeling Skills?

Hey guys,

I have a phone interview with a managing director for a credit research analyst position next Tuesday as well as a three person panel interview for a performance analyst the following Tuesday for the same company.

First off, what do you think would be the best position to take in terms of growth, opportunity, work-life balance?

Secondly, both of the positions require modeling skills and a strong proficiency in Excel. I'm a recent grad and to be honest have no modeling skills whatsoever. Is this gonna be a big issue as an entry level candidate? If they do ask me about any financial modeling, what are some good terms and topics to review before these interviews?
