Past applications influence current chances?

I recently applied for the GS Accelerated process 3 and I was denied. Some of my friends (with lower grades, less relevant work experience) got invited

However, I noticed that I applied to GS AP3 with the same account that I used to apply for last year's spring program and some random summer divisions(I'm currently a junior) I also interviewed for the spring program but got turne down

I was wondering... in considering my application, will HR/ the recruiting team look at the notes from my past resumes in determining if they should give me an interview for my current application? Keep in mind that my resume/interest/experience has dramatically changed from sophomore year to junior year(more leadership, more market related experience etc..)

LOL. i dont think it matters. i applied to GS (up to four positions) when i was a freshman and had not idea what i was doing back then. still got invited to a superday. a friend of mine who was invited to GS women event have not heard back from HCM yet. i dont think not doing AP is a bad thing. u got more time to prepare your interviews and networking to leverage your your interview. superday on the top of finals is killing me. u should be fine.
