PE Analyst vs Index Constitution(Spring)

Hey so end game goal is to break into IB(surprise). I have no finance related experience, but I have 2 offers for a winter-spring internship. One with very small PE firm, they are flexible with my school schedule, but is unpaid. Also have offer this winter at an index fund, and I would be specifically working on Reconstitution. This would be 40 hours per week, and pay is a tad above minimum. Pay isn't too big of deal to me, I have an investment account with over 25k but under 50k, so i tend to pull those out for tuition money. Just wondering what would look best on my resume. Additionally I know lots of the work with the PE firm would be deal sourcing.
