Pharma/Health bg transition to IB

Hi guys! This is my first post here. I am a final year McGill pharma undergrad planning to pursue a biostats master in hk. I have done two investment/equity analysis internships in the past. But IB is totally new to me. I am planning to utilize all two years of master study to do internships.

My questions are:

1. Is finance related degree a must in IB? If not, would my bg help me into a pharma related industry group?

2. If I get into Healthcare IB, exits?
