Hi guys,
This is a serious question - what should be my opening line when I know that the recruiter is calling me on the phone?
Literally, I am looking for the sentence that would be the perfect opening line.
Not a native speaker here so I am really not sure.
Where I come from, we just pick up the phone and say "Hi" and wait for other person to introduce. At work is different, of course.

Phone rings - you pick up:
You: Hi, this is yesbrianer. Recruiter: Hi, yesbrainer, this is recruiter from XZY company You: Hey recruiter, how's your day going?
and so on...don't overthink it. If you plan every word, you're going to sound rigid and not easy to speak with. This shouldn't be any different than a conversation with anyone else you meet in real life. Practice by talking with random people.
