PLEASE: Work Experiences available Freshaman (4 year degree)

Please I need advice on what kind of experience I can get as a first-year in a 4-year degree related to finance (graduating in 2025). I have searched many options, from diversity programs, insight weeks, internships, etc.. but all of them require the second year and onwards students... What can I do?

First, change your username or hide it don’t want your public info out like that. Second, relax freshman year finance internship isn’t necessary at all. Go work part time back home and enjoy this time of your life while you can. Otherwise North Western Mutual or Equitable Advisors probably won’t mind hiring you for an internship if you’re really desperate lol.

Sure np and nice new name :). Other than nwm and axa (just don’t do these lol) go message some family offices or local bb wealth management teams in the area or use any relationship that can get you in. Like the other guy said you’ll need to network for this you’re pretty much still a hs senior so wealth management roles in small offices are your best bet to start in my opinion. Offer to do unpaid if need be too but man unpaid sucks but this is how you gotta compete.

Your best bet is networking to find something yourself rather than going through established programs that are meant for older students.

Corporate finance departments at regular operating companies, smaller/regional PE firms, or wealth management would all be solid places that may be willing to take you.
