Post Grad Job in IB/PE after having only PE experience

Hello all. I have pretty extensive Private Equity Experience through internships. I'm currently a junior in college and an associate at a family structured PE firm (hence why I am able to be an associate...I went from intern-->associate in 8 months of work) that is unknown to many but I have gotten a lot of good experience from it. I participate in meetings with MDs from BB Investment Banks weekly and have submitted LOIs myself with the MD and VP directly above me. I have traveled to Detroit for a meeting with various executives for a carve-out deal too. This summer, I am going to Graham Partners which is a pretty solid shop where I'll gain full competency in financial modeling so I feel like I'll be a pretty solid candidate for some jobs post-grad. I have a 3.7 GPA from a prestigious school (though not an ivy league) and I am involved with extracurriculars.

Should I continue on the PE track and try to get into a better shop that route? Do I have any good chances getting into high MM investment banks? If not, which banks do I have a good shot to get into?

Yes but it’s a very small group that’s not well known. I feel you’re putting too much weight on it ? but I appreciate the input and taking the time out of your day to respond. God bless

Do the WSO resume review for that experience to figure out you're true positioning and where your experience lays out for the story telling. Tough spot undergrad for PE and non-IB internship, you need to kill it in the storytelling early on to make a IB jump, then things get exponentially easy with IB experience that was led by PE. Makes rockstar bankers that get hungry for PE again.

After that you learn from receptiveness from a few interviews and how long your willing to push. Both are possible, IB sounds more likely for the internship layering.
