A few days ago, I got notified of a second round interview at an IB. My interviewer was nice enough to offer to answer any questions I had in preparation for my next round. Is there anything I should ask him outside of office culture-based questions?
Any insight would be great.

After you've made it to the second round, is it weird to write to your first round interviewer for advice?
Well, it's not something I would see myself doing... unless maybe I knew the person well beforehand. But what do I know?
if you made it to the 2nd round that means the1st interviewers really liked you and will be willing to help out. if you feel comfortable doing I say go for it.
It's not weird, and you would creating a contact in the firm. Go for it.
I do it nearly every time. Has always worked well for me.
