Post MBA London BB background checks

So I’m going for my MBA and will be applying to BBs in London. I have previously worked in the hospitality industry but in a finance role. I then moved to Europe where I worked at a boutique debt firm for 3months before getting fired and then at a big 4 before getting laid off because of Covid 6months into the position. Now the thing is my CV is year by year not with months. Let’s say I’m interviewing for summer associate positions do they conduct a background check? How deep? Do they call each firm and check dates? Can I just give them my X managers number?

What do you mean your CV is year by year?

Just do the industry standard - change your CV so it is monthly, don’t take any risks, no matter how small.

They will contact each employer and check the dates.

Both when I moved to IB as an analyst and then to PE they checked the months; in the case where my previous internship employers didn't reply I had to provide payslips to evidence the months I'd worked.

Shouldn't be a big issue to change now unless you mean you already have an offer in hand with the CV you have provided?
