Post MBA recruiting - need advice - Switching into IM

Hi guys,

I'll be heading to a T12 school for my MBA next year with the plans of switching into IM and looking into funds such as PIMCO / Vanguard / Wellington etc. I know these funds are notoriously hard to get into but wanted some advice on how realistic my goals are / any other funds / PM roles I should be looking into. Also advice on things I can do to improve my chances before recruiting starts next year. My profile is as below:

The good: -CFA charter -CAIA charter -Relatively knowledgeable on markets / products / portfolio management strategies

The not so good: -Funds in mind don't recruit on campus at my school, so would be doing off-cycle recruiting -International student, but I will be doing a STEM degree in addition to finance, + Also am a Canadian citizen if that helps -No prior investing experience, previous jobs included more strategy roles at a T1 BB in Asia

Thanks in advance for your help!
