Post-SA Recruiting - Will Get "D" Grade in Class

Recently found out I will get a D in a class. Lot of context that I won't go into, but ultimately it was my fault. Current junior with SA24 offer in hand. Worried about a lot of things, namely: getting offer rescinded, getting return offer, buyside recruiting, and business school. GPA will tank to maybe mid/high 3.6. Any insight as to the implications of this would be helpful. Will try my best to "wake up" next semester, and hopefully finish with all A's to show progress and have a good story if ever asked.

Unsure if your school has this function but you can opt to withdraw from the class, it shows up on your transcript but better than receiving a D. That way you can boost your GPA to where it should be.

getting offer rescinded: won't happen (unless for some reason your offer is contingent on grades and you show them your grades which i've never heard of)

getting return offer: see above

buyside recruiting: have a good GPA overall and that will be most important

business school: one D isn't the worst as long as your GPA ends up good overall just make sure you can explain it away

This is not the end of your life, you have a SA offer, focus on being an absolute dog during your summer and convert that offer
