Potential Market Facing Opportunities Out of a Financial Analyst Internship at a top Asset Managing Firm?

I'm heading into my senior year at a mid-level school with some pretty heavy corporate finance experience on my resume. I'm looking to make the switch to something more market facing, as being a financial analyst is very mundane to me. I enjoy following the markets and how they move and am looking to switch to something more market facing for next year full-time. Any thoughts? Anything it appreciated!
